Purpose of the Survey
The purpose of the end user experience survey is to get an accurate gauge on staff's day to day experience with the technology they use, as well as a good understanding of the productivity capacity of the business.
Businesses with a strong technology platform with a good customer experience perform much better and their staff are more productive and compliant.
We see the end user survey as a critical part of the Business Technology Review (BTR) as its the people on the ground who understand their technology environment best.

We recommend a senior staff member should send out these emails to ensure a high completion rate.

First Email
Subject: Important - Technology Survey
To all staff;
Technology affects all of us every day, and making sure you have the right tools to do your job is important to us.
Thats why we are currently undertaking a review of all our business technology with an external consulting firm. They are now asking for your opinion on the technology in the company.
This is your chance to have your say about technology in the company.
The things you need to know are;
- Responses will be de-identified before being presented to management. This means that anything you write or say in the survey will not be presented to management in a way that can identify you. This is so you can be honest in your responses and we get the clearest picture possible of your current work environment.
- For the survey to have any bearing on the decisions of the company, we must get at least an 80% completion rate. If we get less than this the results are not statically significant and are not useful in decision making in the company.
- You have 1 week to complete the survey and it takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
The collated results will be presented at a special board meeting to ensure your voice is heard.
The survey must be completed by COB DD/MM/YY
Second Email (mid-week)

To all staff;
Thank you to everyone who has already completed the survey.
Currently there are still some people who have not completed the survey and this needs to be completed by COB DD/MM/YY
If you haven't received your survey, please follow the following steps;
- First; check your junk mail for the survey invitation
- Reply to this email and we will resend you a link to the survey.
Remember, this is your chance to have your say on the technology you use every day.
Individual survey responses will be not be presented to management, so please be honest in your responses.
The survey must be completed by COB DD/MM/YY
Low Completion Rate
If you are experiencing a low completion rate, we will reach out to you directly and work on a plan with you to get it up to the required 80% requirement.
