What is Office 365 for Nonprofits?
As part of Microsoft’s dedication to support not-for-profit organisations in Australia, they are now offering their Office 365 product for free or at a reduced fee for eligible organisations.
Office 365 is takes your every-day office experience and enhances it with cloud technology, to help you manage your whole organisation’s e-mail accounts, calendaring, collaboration, shared files, communication and of course, the familiar suite of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
Are we Eligible?
According to Microsoft
Australia Organizations must be deductible gift recipients (DGRs) endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) or listed by name in the tax law; charities registered with the Australian Charities and Nonprofits Commission (ACNC); or income tax exempt not‐for‐profit organizations as defined by the ATO

How does my not-for-profit apply for the Office 365 for nonprofits program?
To apply for Office 365 for your not-for-profit, go to the Office 365 for Nonprofits on the Microsoft website. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/nonprofits/office-365
- Sign up for Connecting up if not a member
- Click on Get Started
- Select your Country
- Read information and Click on Continue
- Read Microsoft's Anti-Discrimination Policy and Click on Continue
- Fill out organisation information and click on Next
Once you have access to the admin centre of office 365, you can grant us access by using the instructions below.
